Job description
We’re looking for an Assistant/Manager who is ready to grow with a business, hence comfortable with ambiguity within a fast-growing business where everything isn’t 100% defined all the time. You will support the Chief Financial Officer to oversee all financial aspects of the business and help drive the company’s financial strategy.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking responsibility for the full spectrum of the Finance and Accounting function, including year-end closing, AR/AP management, budgeting and forecasting, FP&A and management reporting, tax and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Working closely with the CFO to drive the company’s financial controls and budget, reporting, planning and analysis, providing related ongoing advice to leadership.
- Support building a strategic structure and cadence for financial planning and reviews.
- Generating business analysis and recommendations for periodic management reviews to bolster business opportunities and improvement projects.
- Support the development of financial and tax strategies, trends and projection plans, managing the company's budgeting processes and cash flows.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (balance sheet, P&L statements, cash flow updates), annual forecasts, financial planning and analysis, financial statements, corporate tax and GST filing and compliance.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors for audits, GST return, Corporate Tax filing and ACRA registration matters.
- Manage banking relationships and cash management activities.
- Support HR, Talent and Business Operations teams with finance-related matters across a full cycle of payroll processing, including claim submissions and forms (IR8A, IR21, NS and maternity).
Job requirements
THE REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in an audit/accounting firm, and or professional services experience preferred.
- Familiar with tools including but not limited to Xero finance, Just Login, G-Suite, Excel, etc.
- Strong understanding of SEA tax regulations and knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with audits, GST return submissions and Corporate Tax filing matters.
- Proven experience working closely with various business function heads, HR, and Compensation & Benefits teams.
