Job description
As a Client Executive, you’ll play a key role in executing day-to-day Public Relations (PR) and Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) activities. This includes media relations, content creation, and KOL engagement, while also supporting campaigns across digital, social, and owned channels. You’ll contribute to strategic account management by applying your curiosity and agility to quickly understand client industries and stay ahead of trends. You’ll be expected to service clients independently, manage the implementation of multi-channel communications programmes, and uphold PRecious Communications’ standards of integrated storytelling and results-driven execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
Day-to-day management of account, including WIP meetings, according to agreed programme and scope of work
Prepare and submit on time all client meeting contact reports
Prepare client monthly activity reports detailing all activities carried out for the month
Ensure all materials and reports submitted to clients are timely, accurate, error-free and approved by account lead (account consultant or director)
Brief and manage third parties e.g. designers, photographers, event companies and vendors
Assist on event research and planning, logistics coordination
Manage and oversee client events, logistics and coordination
Serve as account lead, manage client contact and correspondence
Assist on budget and costing research
Manage and resolve any emerging issues around client or budget
Manage media monitoring and compile media clippings
Conduct media pitching, including drafting pitches
Build and cultivate relationships with the media and influencers
Client Management & Strategy Counsel
Support research on client business and industry (e.g. competitor analysis, industry issues and trends)
Assist in media training of clients
Understand the media landscape
Contribute strategic and creative inputs for clients’ PR programmes, proposals and at client meetings
Provide client counsel, proactively build client trust and relationships
Support research for media training (e.g. research on media / journalists)
Monitor and alert team and directors to emerging and potential PR or industry issues relevant to client
Prepare comms programme or project evaluation reports at appropriate intervals
Content Development
Research and assist in development of content (e.g. press releases, FAQs, media briefing materials, client briefing books, presentation decks, social / digital content, speeches / talking points, message house, editorial calendar)
Adapt and customise content for different audience and formats
Create hooks and create media / audience appeal (e.g. strong pitch, headline, caption)
Use narrative and composition skills to tell a story
Support team with business development research.
Job requirements
We are looking for a team player who can collaborate well with other team members across the region and understand that working hard and having fun are not mutually exclusive. While most of our clients require your services in written and spoken English, additional language skills, especially Chinese or Bahasa, are highly welcomed in order to liaise with Chinese & Bahasa speaking media as well as to serve our international clients across the region.
You have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in a PR or integrated communications environment—this could be through internships or an entry-level role.
You’ve supported multichannel campaigns across media relations, social media, and content, and are eager to deepen your skills in digital and KOL engagement.
You are curious and adaptable, comfortable working with B2B clients and learning how to simplify complex topics into compelling content.
You have working knowledge of traditional and social media platforms and are open to collaborating with creative, media, and strategy teams.
Bonus if you’ve had exposure to tools like Google Analytics or social listening platforms.
