Job description
As an Associate Director, you play a pivotal role in the success of PRecious Communications. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong leader with proven experience in managing client accounts, developing and executing integrated communications campaigns, and contributing to the overall growth of the agency.
Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Leadership
Lead the development and execution of communications strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
Provide strategic counsel to clients on their communications challenges and opportunities, identifying key messages and target audiences.
Oversee all aspects of client projects and retainers, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
Ensure client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or issues.
Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to win new business.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans, including media relations, social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, and crisis communication strategies.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify key trends and opportunities in the communications landscape.
Monitor media coverage and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to clients.
Proactively identify and respond to emerging issues and opportunities that may impact clients' reputations.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new talent.
Conduct internal training sessions and knowledge sharing sessions.
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts and through proactive market research.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry influencers and media contacts.
Contribute to the development of new business proposals and presentations.
Job requirements
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in public relations, with a strong preference for agency experience.
Proven experience in managing and growing client accounts, with a focus on both B2B and B2C sectors.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A passion for the public relations industry and a desire to stay abreast of industry trends.
Experience with media monitoring and social media analytics tools.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
