Job description

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will report to the Chief Financial Officer (Regional). 


Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Entry of trade invoice and allocate payment transactions into accounting software.
  • Review of staff expense claim for Singapore and regional offices– To ensure all supporting documents are submitted via the accounting software.
  • Consolidation and submission of trade and non-trade invoices and supporting documents for payment cycle dated on 8th and 23rd of each month.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Liaise with team mangers on the client Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure the computation is correct.
  • Issuance of invoices based on team lead or client timelines.
  • Review and monitor payment from client and liaise with team lead or client finance on any risk exposure on the payment.

Review on each projects/job profitability

  • Review and discuss with team lead on the project/job profitability to ensure all third-party cost are taken into consideration. Provide information to CFO on any potential risk/opportunity on client business.

Market P&L review and analysis

  • Prepare and extract month end financial report for markets (Singapore and Malaysia)
  • Provide insight on the financial data, compare the financial trend and discussion with Chief Financial Officer, CFO on month end.
  • Update the rolling forecast based on the actual month end financial report.
  • Present the financial report to Regional Head eg CEO, COO and CFO

Other Duties

  • To be expert in finance system and implement new process initiatives.
  • Liaising with bank as required
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer

Job requirements

  • Diploma or Degree holder
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in a finance/accounting role
  • Experience in Finance, Accounts Payable and Receivable or full set accounts
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and willing to learn as career progression.
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in public relations or media/advertising agencies would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, G Suite/Google Workspace
  • A self-starter and a team player
