Job description
PRecious Communications is looking for an enthusiastic and talented digital and social native to join our team as a Social Media Content Strategist
You will be responsible for developing social media content strategy, creative concepts, writing social content and post copies, and delivering strategic counsel. You will be working with a culturally and geographically diverse team with the support of an Art Director, Senior Content Strategist, Account Manager and Account Director across PR, digital and social media teams to deliver creative and captivating content for our client’s social media pages.
Monitoring user engagement and analysing feedback and providing recommendations on a regular basis will form part of your daily task.
In addition, you will be exposed to supervising social media campaigns and work alongside the creative team to brainstorm content ideas to meet objectives outlined by our clients.
Responsibilities
Developing social media strategies integrating organic and paid content on social media
Creating paid social media content for advertising
Overseeing and bettering the management of social media platforms
Creating different strategies and campaigns to address different stages of social content and/or campaign objectives (Awareness to Engagement to Conversion)
Finessing in-visual and captions copywriting
Monitoring social media metrics and ROI
Analyzing social media trends
Optimizing social media content effectively
Collaborating with creative team and other team members within the agency to deliver content based on clients’ briefs and expectations
Staying up to date with the latest social media content formats and advertising efforts and goals.
Participate in new business pitches - developing of new business decks, working cross-team with team leads to identify, cultivate, pitch and convert leads
Job requirements
3 - 4 years of agency work experience in the space of social strategy, involving organic and paid social content (knowledge in digital and social content and strategy mix is preferred )
Demonstrate the ability to understand integrated digital-social media works
Able to showcase and articulate his/her knowledge in measurement metrics mapping across client objectives
Excellent knowledge of research requirements for social media strategy
Excellent knowledge and experience in social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok and others
Strong ability in working independently
Outstanding proofreading and editing skills
Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to write creative-led and catchy content
Good knowledge of paid social media advertising
Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize them
In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and their algorithm changes
Strong organizational and time management skills
Outstanding B2B content experience will be preferred
Knowledge of social media scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and others would be a bonus
A keen eye for details
