Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead and inspire our consumer lifestyle communications efforts. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated communications strategies that elevate our brand and drive consumer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, executive leadership) to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless brand experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and oversee the execution of long-term communications strategies that align with overall business objectives and brand vision.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the consumer lifestyle space.
    • Provide strategic communications counsel to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
    • Develop and manage the communications budget.
  • Media Relations & Influencer Marketing:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts (journalists, bloggers, influencers) in relevant sectors (e.g., fashion, beauty, food, travel).
    • Secure impactful media coverage across traditional and digital channels (print, online, broadcast, social media).
    • Develop and execute successful influencer marketing campaigns, including product seeding, event invitations, and content collaborations.
  • Content Strategy & Creation:
    • Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content across all channels, including press releases, media alerts, website copy, social media posts, blog articles, and video content.
    • Develop compelling brand narratives and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
  • Crisis Communications:
    • Develop and implement crisis communication plans and protocols.
    • Manage and respond to media inquiries and potential crises effectively.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
    • Lead and mentor junior communications team members.
    • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the consumer lifestyle sector.

Job requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in public relations or communications, with a strong focus on consumer lifestyle brands.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing integrated communications campaigns.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to  work independently and as part of a team.
