Social Media Manager for integrated communications agency

Job description

The Role:

This role will support our communications agency team’s heads by working closely with clients to advise and implement Digital & Social Media projects in the B2B/Consumer Lifestyle and Startup space, to build a positive brand and successfully communicate corporate objectives. 

Job Responsibilities

Client Account Management

·       Lead day-to-day operations on assigned accounts, manage and foster good client relations 
·       Ensure all output by team members meet PRecious Communications standards, client requirements and deadlines 
·       Assist and provide accurate budget estimates for projects and retainer accounts 
·       Manage and track all client budgets to prevent over-servicing 
·       Proactively alert relevant leadership team to emerging budget or client issues
·       Manage, coach, train and mentor junior or new members in the project team 
·       Connect with journalists and key opinion leaders in the social media sphere 

In-house Digital/ Social Media Lead

·       Coordinate social media team
·       Manage our social media community
·       Create shareable content appropriate and engage in relevant social discussions 
·       Monitoring and analytics
·       Team training


Business Development

·       Support the BD team to identify, reach out to and secure business development leads 
·       Identify and develop expansion of business with existing clients 
·       Focal point for business development proposals and pitches 
·       Grow database organically 

Strategic Counsel/Creative Inputs 


·       Conceptualize integrated communications plans across traditional media, social media and digital spheres
·       Manage client relationships and offer timely strategic counsel 
·       Develop and implement digital and social media programs integrated in the overall proposal
·       Provide counsel on digital/social media platforms and counsel to clients on how to manage these

·      Prepare communications program or project evaluation reports at appropriate intervals and recommend changes or adjustments accordingly


Requirements

Relevant experience

·       Prior experience of at least 4 years working in a public relations, digital or integrated communications agency
·       Experience in developing and running social media / digital campaigns
·       Technical skills within Social Media channels implementation and their measurement
·       Ability to foster and maintain positive media and influencer relations 
·       Outstanding English language communication skills – both written and oral, with the ability to communicate with, and adapt to, different communication styles at all levels 

 Management Skills

·       Superior organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines 
·       Ability to interface with external stakeholders (clients, spokespersons, media) to build positive relations 
·       Experience in managing teams and mentoring/coaching junior staff 
·       Team player who is able to work across teams and able to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty 

Personality and Others

·       Flexible, hand on and driven to succeed 
·       Solid business English language skills and ideally another Asian language do communicate with clients and associates across Asia
·       local work experience in Singapore
